This Trip’s Impact on Eco-Tourism and Wildlife Conservation
The 3 Days Murchison Falls Safari is designed to provide an immersive wildlife experience while actively participating in the preservation of Uganda’s largest conservation area. By choosing this trip, you contribute to:
- Anti-Poaching & Habitat Protection: A significant portion of your park entrance and activity fees goes directly to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). These funds are used for ranger patrols, the removal of illegal snares, and the protection of the park’s endangered Rothschild’s giraffes and lions.
- Support for the Rhino Fund: The stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary directly supports the reintroduction of the Southern White Rhino to Uganda. Your tracking fees fund 24-hour security for the rhinos and breeding programs aimed at returning them to the wild.
- Community Development: Under Uganda’s tourism revenue-sharing policy, 20% of park gate fees are reinvested into local communities living around Murchison Falls. This helps build schools and clinics, providing locals with a tangible reason to protect wildlife.
- Eco-Conscious Travel: We partner with lodges that prioritize solar energy, waste reduction, and local sourcing, ensuring your footprint remains minimal while your positive impact on the local economy is maximized.
