Day 1 of the 3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, from your hotel of residence meet with the company guide and after transfer western Uganda via Masaka-Mbarara highway. En-route stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs, snacks and with your en-route African cuisine at Agip Motel. After lunch, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the “Little Switzerland”. Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/Buhoma Lodge/Silver Back Lodge/Heaven Lodge Buhoma for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: H/B
Day 2: The Gorilla Trekking Experience and Lake Bunyonyi Tour
Have breakfast, after head to the park head offices for briefing from the park head warden and after with ranger guides enter into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas. Later with picnic lunch, start 30 minutes – 8 hours trek to find the Mountain Gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day.
After a full hour with the gorillas, after drive to Lake Bunyonyi with scenic undulating terrains and then have relax at the shores of the lake and overnight stay at Arcadia Cottages/Bunyonyi Overland Cottages, meal plan: F/B
Day 3: Scenic Drive & Departure
Have breakfast and after embark the safari jeep and transfers via Mbarara with lunch en-route and later drive back to Kampala/Entebbe for your return flight.
