Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days (Bwindi 2026) Gorillas Chimps & Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park

Have breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides. Carry parked lunch, embark on a 30 minutes – 8 hours trek hunting for the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the spot where the gorillas were last seen the previous day. After a quite one hour observing the gorillas, return to your accommodations before going for the Community walk. Dinner and overnight Buhoma Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for Boat Cruise
Have morning breakfast then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the famous Ishasha Southern Sector known for the rare African tree climbing lions in the branches of the fig trees, later in early afternoon, head to Kazinga Channel for the afternoon launch cruise at the Kazinga channel where you may see a variety of wildlife, bird species including Flamingoes and aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and Overnight at Bush Lodge.

Day 4: En-route Game drive then Transfer to Kibale Forest

Dawn game drive for animals common in this National Park like Elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes, lions, warthogs, leopards, Hyenas, Jackals and a lot more, then later proceed to the stunning Kibale Forest National Park. On reaching the Park, proceed to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Relaxation, Dinner and Overnight at Kibale Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest then transfer for a Bigodi Walk

Wake up have breakfast then later proceed to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Chimpanzees then later in groups of 6-8 people with a skilled ranger guide, penetrate the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, spend an hour in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories.

En-route, your watch various primates, monkeys, birds in their natural forest habitat. Kibale Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe Airport

Wake up have breakfast, then with your luggage, transfer to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
