#Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park a journey of about 5 Hours to Fort Portal and when you reach the Park in the afternoon, transfer to check-in your lodge/ hotel for lunch. After lunch, transfer on a guided nature walk to explore the Bigodi Wetland Swamp where you view various bird species like the Shining Blue Kingfisher, Blue Throated Roller, Pied Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Yellow Spotted, Hairy Breasted and Yellow-Billed Barbets. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge.
#Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
Have breakfast and move into the forest for chimpanzee trekking. The forest is known to harbour the largest number of primate species compared to any other park in Uganda. Expect other primates like the phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabey swinging through the forest.
The walk through the forest will be guided to provide you with detailed explanation not only on primates but also on butterflies and small insects too. In the afternoon you may rest or go for a walk in fort portal town. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge.
#Day 3 of the 10 Days Uganda (Budget 2023) Chimps, Gorillas & Wildlife Safari: Transfer to Queen National Park for Boat Cruise
Have breakfast to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you about 2 and a half hours following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain ranges most of the journey. You will have a game drive en-route as you transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach in time for lunch to have lunch and then later in the afternoon go for a Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects lakes Edward and George. The boat ride will reward you with game like hippos, buffaloes, elephants and plenty of birds on shores. For birders the park is known for its record of 210 birds’ a day.
#Day 4: Game drive and Chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge
Before sun rise have breakfast or a glass of juice and go for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector and the queens’ mile. The drive will reward you with game like the Buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, white striped jackals, antelopes, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, bush bucks and others. You will retire from the game drive for late breakfast at the lodge. After the late breakfast you will have lunch and then transfer to the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking.

#Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
In the morning have breakfast and then have a game drive en-route to through the Ishasha sector as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will reach in the afternoon and then go for a community walk or be entertained in some of the cultural dances of the country. These are offered on request. Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla Resort.
#Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest National Park
Following breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before you set off at 9:00 am through the tracks to search for the mountain gorillas in their natural habitants . You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these great apes. The activity is tiresome, it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. They are awe-inspiring! Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp.
#Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park located a few kilometers off Mbarara Town to enjoy Wildlife Safaris. Transfer for 4-5 hours with en-route views of the green vegetation terrain, birds then later you reach and break off for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center then later proceed to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive which offers you views of numerous wildlife animals wandering around their natural habitat. After your Game Drive, proceed to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mihingo lodge.
#Day 8: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks watching wildlife wandering around the natural vegetation habitat. You transfer with an experienced ranger guide and the wildlife animals you view include; zebras, giraffes, kobs, topis, small antelope, eland, etc. After your Game Drive, break off for lunch then later transfer to enjoy a Boat Cruise along Lake Mburo where you see crocodiles and Hippos as well as birds. After your cruise, transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mihingo lodge.
#Day 9: Transfer to Kampala
Wake up have breakfast then transfer back to Kampala where you reach late in the afternoon with an en-route lunch stop at the equator for photographs. When you get to Kampala, proceed to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight at Hotel Africana.
#Day 10: Transfer to Ngamba Island then Departure
Have breakfast and then transfer to Ngamba Island the Chimpanzee sanctuary. It is a home of 39 orphaned chimps. You will have a 45 minutes boat ride to reach in time for feeding of the chimps such that you can view them well on a raised platform. You will have lunch at the Island and then later in the afternoon you may go for a nature/ forest walk along with chimpanzees. Later in the evening you will transfer to the main land to Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
