Active Uganda Safaris is a trade name for Active African Vacations a premier tour operation agency based in Kampala, Uganda. We are a local travel agency organizing safaris in East Africa. We have created these magical journeys in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Congo for the past 6 years.

We strive to stimulate an interest and help develop an understanding of the rich natural heritage of Uganda and Rwanda. Conservation

We care for nature and take utmost care not to disturb it, maintaining a high degree of ecological sensitivity in our tours. Fully embracing the principle of ‘Leave back no garbage’, not only do we carry back all our non-biodegradable waste, but also clean up the litter left behind by other visitors. We minimize the use of plastic on nature camps and treks, discourage the wasteful consumption of deadwood and water and use biodegradable soaps and detergents.
