Day 1: Arrival and Pick Up
After a short transfer to your hotel the guide will brief you about the safari. Depending on the time of arrival e.g. if your flight arrives in the morning, you will go for a city tour. You can visit some of the landmarks and sites around town with the help of our driver/guide. Dinner and Overnight at Fang Fang Hotel, Forest Cottages.Day 2: Transfer to Fort Portal Town
Head to Fort Portal via Mubende. You will have a stop over at Nakayima Shrine, a splendid tree known to be 400 years old, worshiped by local people and thought to be holding the spirit of an ancient king. The local people believe that they can get blessing from the Nakayima Shrine. After, transfer to Fort Portal and you will reach in the late afternoon. Dinner and Overnight at Ndali Lodge, Mountains of the Moon Hotel, Sunrise Hotel.Day 3: Visit the King’s Palace in Fort Portal
After breakfast, visit the palace of the Omukama (king) of Toro, it’s an ancient building. Then proceed to the locally worshiped hot springs and see ancient land form features and caves in Fort Portal. After lunch, go visit the pygmy villages located near the Ituri Rain forest. The visit to the villages has proven to be an interesting cultural experience. 14 Days Wildlife Safari Uganda – Gorillas & Cultural Tour After your adventure, proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. You will have an En-route game drive giving you an opportunity to view lions, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. After lunch, visit the bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close look at the bats, rock python and forest cobras. The same walk provides you an opportunity to watch various bird species, primates, tree species etc. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana Safari Lodge, Hippo hill Camp.Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park and when you reach the Park, proceed to track the Mountain Gorillas in their natural forest vegetation habitat with a skilled ranger guide for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, transfer on a Guided Nature walk through the local Community then later transfer to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Leave for Kisoro, stopping at Kanaba Gap to view the spectacular Virunga volcanoes and stunning terraced hills. Visit the natural, beautiful-looking Lake Mutanda, surrounded by the volcanoes, take a walk on the shores then later proceed to the stunning Mgahinga National Park. When you reach the Park, transfer to check-in your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Travelers Hotel, Mount Gahinga Lodge.Day 8: Visit the Local Communities
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to visit the local Pygmy Communities to learn about their way of life and survival through out the ages. They will dance, sing and perform according to their traditions and customs an experience that is so amazing and adorable to all kinds of travelers interested n watching these people. After your cultural Adventure, proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Lake Mburo National Park . After lunch proceed for an exciting boat trip or an evening game drive where you will view beautiful stripped zebras, Impalas and other animals. Overnight at the community Bandas, or local farm.Day 10: Game Drive and Transfer to Kampala
Have another game drive and then drive to Kampala with a stop over for lunch en-route. Stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers en-route where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations. There will also be time to stop at the Equator for photographs. Overnight at Local home.Day 11: Kampala City Tour
Proceed for Kampala City Tour. This will include the visit to the Uganda museum Namugongo Martyrs‘ Shrine where some 22 Christian converts were burnt at the stake in the 19th century, Bahai Temple which is the only one in Africa and see the cultures of Buganda and see the lifestyle of their ancient kings; see Naggalabi ancient Kings’ Crown-ground, Kasubi Royal Tombs, buy art crafts. Enjoy the traditional Ugandan local foods. Overnight at local home.Day 12: Transfer to Jinja Town
Drive eastward to Jinja, via Mukono. Visit Ssezibwa Falls, the twin falls that are believed to have been “produced” by an ancient woman. You can have an opportunity to visit the traditional healers. Proceed to Jinja via the Owen Falls Dam, Uganda’s largest dam. Visit the Source of the Mighty River Nile, and then a cultural tour to Bujagali Falls on the other end of the Nile. Return to Kampala late afternoon. Visit the theatre to enjoy a local play/dance (subject to availability). Overnight at Local home.Day 13: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
